What can a wall be...

We are turning an entire wall into a mural where students can display work while learning about it.  We painted the wall blue for the sky. We used felt to create rolling green hills (later can be used to retell stories with felt characters).  For our mountains and tree we REUSED packing paper from different packages we received in the mail.  Our archway has a beautiful rainbow made out of tool...when the sun hits it just right can shimmer.  I can't wait to get the students work on it now!

Hidden Secret Savvysource.com

I just stumbled upon SavvySource.com yesterday.  It is a great website for parent with preschoolers all over the U.S.  I love how it automatically includes parent surveys in it. Wonderful resource for parents. It saves a lot of time!

As a teacher I love this time of year--- setting up the classroom for a new year!  This year is different for me than previous years.  I opened up my own preschool in Oak Creek, Wisconsin so I get to design my very OWN learning environment.  I love it.  It is a dream come true!  Check out my website that I built!!!! Don't be surprised, but I built it all by myself thanks to my friends at Fatcow.com.  My brothers were impressed (since they know I had no prior knowledge about websites!)

My friend Becky Bethke designed the logo for the preschool!  We love it!!! Thank you Becky! You are amazing!
